Mermaids and Myths
This project explores the themes of the color blue, mermaids, and moths as recurring visual motifs. The project is meant to evoke an ethereal, almost artificial atmosphere, in which it creates a world that feels both lonely and beautiful. By using the game environment of Infinity Nikki as a canvas, I experimented with framing, lighting, and symbolism to construct images that blur the line between fantasy and art. The series reflects on how myths and dreams can be quite lonely. I wanted to transform this virtual landscape into a personal narrative of solitude, wonder, and fragile beauty.
